Dhalsim, the enlightened Indian yoga master, brings his unique and otherworldly fighting style to Street Fighter 6. Dhalism looks even stretchier in the upcoming Street Fighter 6 game.
Jamie is a young Chinatown resident who draws inspiration from the legendary Yun and Yang. He is the first new character appearing in the upcoming main game. Jamie's fighting style combines elements of Kung Fu and Capoeira, infused with the elegance of traditional Chinese dance. This fusion of disciplines grants him a unique and visually striking move set, setting him apart from his counterparts.
Another fresh face on the Street Fighter 6 roster is Kimberly, a street ninja hailing from the US and trained under Guy in the Bushinryu style. She is also another brand new character joining the Street Fighter 6 franchise. This enigmatic fighter possesses exceptional martial arts skills, honed through years of relentless training. Her swift and precise strikes, coupled with her expertise in stealth and assassination techniques, make her a formidable opponent. Kimberly's presence adds an air of mystery to the game, leaving players curious about her past and motivations
Juri the dark mirror image of Chun-Li is returning in Street Fighter 6. She is a fierce sadistic combatant who passionately hates the notorious M. Bison. Hailing from South Korea Juri's fighting style showcases her mastery of Taekwondo, infused with her unique psychic powers. This combination of raw physicality and supernatural abilities allows her to unleash devastating attacks, making her a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Juri's personal vendetta against Bison adds an intriguing layer of drama to the game's narrative.
The charismatic Jamaican kickboxer is making a return in Street Fighter 6 with his iconic rhythmic combat style. He will be packing a lot more moves and styles like Jus Cool and Weekend Pleasure in the upcoming game to make the arena a fun party. However, his playstyle has gotten trickier but equally rewarding and fun.
The list wouldn’t be complete without the inclusion of Cammy White, one of the OG female fighters in the entire series who appeared alongside Chun Li Street Fighter 6. The British fighter packs a lethal combination of swiftness and precision. With the Street Fighter 6 Drive System at her disposal, her punches and kicks now pack even more power and damage.
The final playable character of the series’ previous title, Street Fighter 5, makes a comeback in the latest title as a main character. Luke Sullivan, the apprentice of the series’ well-known United States Air Force officer, Guile, plays the role of a coach for the player's custom character in the World Tour game mode in the latest title. Even though he plays video games in his spare time, his fighting style is unmatched and can be clearly seen in his moveset.
JP is another brand new character joining in the series’ 6th main title. He might strike as a very professional businessman at a glance but don’t be fooled, he packs an even more striking punch. In fact, he is the leader of a terrorist group known as Amnesia and the main antagonist in the game. Apart from him being known to have a connection with the notorious M. Bison, there’s little to nothing else known about his past. JP has mastered Bartitsu and Psycho Power to show his dominance in the fighting arena and his moveset is similarly scary.
Hailing from Japan, Edmond Honda or better known, E. Honda is the only fighter that practices Japanese Sumo in Street Fighter 6. E Honda first appeared in Street Fighter II and ever since has been an iconic character in the series who values tradition over anything. He’s a chef out of the fighting field and cooks the best Chanko stew in town. Even though E Honda is not a main character in the game’s main story, he is still an iconic character in the universe and it is reminded to us by his “Nostalgia” costume and his fun move set.
Have you ever wanted to be a supermodel in Street Fighter? Well, the newest character in Street Fighter 6, Manon is going to fulfill your fantasies. Beauty is not the only deadly weapon this French ballet dancer and supermodel is packing. She’s also a world-champion judoka who can take on anyone you throw at her. Even though there are plenty of characters in the Street Fighter universe that practices Judo in their move set, Manon is the only one to incorporate ballet dancing with it.
Blanka is another returning character in Street Fighter 6. He made his first appearance in Street Fighter II and has been a staple in the franchise ever since. Even though he is a fellow human like the rest of us, it might not be that obvious due to his feral nature and ability to discharge electricity. This beast fighter’s moveset does not look like any other martial arts you have seen but he sure can kick ass. Despite the Brazilian fighter’s beastie looks, he is a kindhearted defender of nature.
The Italian fighter, Marissa is another brand-new character in the Street Fighter universe, who also happens to be the scariest-looking female fighter. This buffed red-haired lady is a Pankration master keeping it true to her ancestry in ancient Greece. When she is not fighting in an arena, you can find her designing precious jewelry.
Zangief is no stranger to returning players of the series. The Russian national hero also first appeared in Street Fighter II and has been an icon throughout the years in multiple games. With his Russian and American pro wrestling skills, paired with his humongous muscles, Zagief A.K.A. the Red Cyclone is a force to be reckoned with.
There has been plenty of Mexican representation in the Street Fighter franchise and the newest addition to this demography is Lily, the Listener of Spirits. Just like her Thunderfoot tribe descendants, she also is a proud follower of the Thunderfoot martial arts which makes her deadly in the arena, despite her innocent looks. Do you dare challenge her in the fighting field?
