WoW, World of Warcraft, or simply that world famous MMORPG game that your friends can't seem to get enough of. It's been a generation defining experience that's stayed alive for much longer than any other MMORPG in the scene. The one thing that makes World of Warcraft so fun to invest your time and effort into is its beautiful world and the freedom it offers you. You have the choice of making multiple different characters, playing with friends, doing World of Warcraft Raids which are simply phenomenal, and spending most of your time in the grind for the best loot.

However, when you have so much content, and a lot of it is primarily divided by numbers on every single aspect, things do start to get a bit complicated. There are simply way too many statistics to keep up with, and you'd have to keep switching between accounts to figure out your ranking. Not anymore, as Raider IO is here to make EVERYTHING easier.

What is Raider IO – An Introduction.

Raider IO is a World of Warcraft fansite. It will help provide you with new and exciting ways to examine progression, data regarding guilds, or all your characters. Raider IO is not simply there to let you know about stuff inside the game, it focuses explicitly on providing you the rankings and information for Mythic+ Keystone Progression and Raid Progression. As time goes on and the website is updated more frequently, there will be a lot more content provided. But for now, they have a strong base, so let's talk about it!

Raider IO is essentially an add-on for your game, one that rates your character according to your achievements in the game. It specifically looks at the amount of dungeons you've managed to clear, the level key for said dungeons, and how long it took you to clear them. A higher score is obtained by completing more dungeons with greater challenges in a shorter amount of time. PUG Squad Leaders now base their decisions on Raider.IO scores, especially when they're trying to fill up group slots. The player's score directly speaks for them, instead of overanalyzing each thing with achievement badges and levels.

Why Do World of Warcraft Players Use Raider IO?

In the most simple of terms, I would define Raider IO as your World of Warcraft Resume. World of Warcraft Raids are perhaps the main meat of the game. These endgame scenarios are what most people are there for, as they provide the best leveling, the best loot, and the toughest challenge. Raider IO is there to help you get into a group without having to burn yourself out trying to find a group by showing your achievement badges and levels. Now, you simply showcase your stats through Raider IO, and you will most likely find a squad that's right up to your skill level. Mythic+ PUGs have never been easier to find.

It's quite simple and effective to use, there's not much hassle and it will land you into a group that's almost the same skill level as you are, so there won't be any judging or mockery going about. There's always the chance that this might feel a bit elitist, where a lot of players will have trouble finding groups due to having lower or weaker stats on their Raider IO profile. Still, most likely you will find a group quite easily. If you have trouble finding a group through Raider IO, you can join randoms on raids and increase your overall Raider IO score, which will eventually come back to help you get more groups for PUGs!

Some of The Best Raider IO Features!

The Raider IO website shows you stats for everything, including players you might have known ages ago and remember the character names. The best thing is that you can check stats for the leaderboard, for example, if you've been interested in seeing what's the highest ranking run of any Mythic+ Raids, you can head over to WoW Raider IO website and then quickly get a list of the best runs of the season so far. You see the rank, the Dungeon name, the level, the time it took the players to beat them, the affixes used, and who played which character. Finally, it also shows the overall score of that particular run, which is important when looking at Raider IO as your World of Warcraft resume!

Raider IO Statistics

Raider IO will also display almost all of a player's runs. It will showcase how frequently the player successfully completed specific dungeons and how long it took them. This makes finding PUGs easier, as people flock to you if you've completed a particular dungeon multiple times and would be very interested in teaming up with you.

Recruitment

The recruitment system in Raider IO is probably its most unique and the best feature. It essentially lets you create your very own recruitment profile, something that you can simply hand off to people who are looking to team up with friends, and then you will simply find a squad to play with depending on your overall score, achievements, and completed challenges. It lets you find groups for Raids, Mythic+, Dungeons, and groups for essentially any activity available in the game, and it's concrete in finding what you're looking for.

Raider.IO Recruitment

For example, you can specify minimum and maximum requirements for Mythic+ Score, item level, and raid progression. You can even impose rigid deadlines that you'll only play from 9PM to 12AM on Friday night or give yourself various options regarding playing times or schedule. You can list the classes and characteristics you're seeking in a group mate, or you can simply accept applications from any players that come your way.

While I do believe that WoW Raider IO is definitely a helpful addon that can truly help you in overall specificity and figuring out the group system and PUGing in the game, it might still be a bit misleading as the stats sometimes might not represent the true extent of a player's skillset. So, while I agree that Raider IO is a tremendous feature, you should still try and find groups more organically because it might be a better option overall!

However, if you're simply starting out in the World of Warcraft scene, WoW Raider IO will be one of the most helpful things you can use. It will get you into games, it will help you build your overall image in the community, it will get you accustomed to how you should be approaching challenges and doing quests. Moreover, it will essentially get you up to speed in the World of Warcraft Raid scene!
