The Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is finally here and it brings with it the brand new Battle Pass. This season's Battle Pass, like the previous ones, features many new goodies, including new skins, pickaxes, gliders, wraps, emotes, and much more.

Players are required to complete the season's Battle Pass to get hold of all these items, especially the much-awaited Darth Vader skin. Players need to gain XP and level up to progress through the Battle Pass pages and get their hands on the exclusive items. This blog post will give you some tips on how to efficiently gain XP in Fortnite.

10 Battle Pass pages? 100 levels? Initially, this sure looks like hours of grinding, but not to worry because we have found some ways to make the process a little quicker. There are 3 game modes you can play and earn XP in. Namely, Battle Royale, Creative and Save the World. As the game modes are different, so are the methods of farming XP in those modes.

Before we begin, you should eliminate any hopes that you might have of making use of XP glitches or cheats to level up. There are a lot of legitimate ways which you can use to earn as much XP as possible. So without any further ado, let's dive in!

How to get XP in Fortnite Battle Royale

Regularly playing Battle Royale matches and completing challenges is no doubt the most reliable and fastest way to stack up XP. Just by entering and playing the Battle Royale mode, players get passive XP which is rewarded for regular actions such as eliminating players, surviving storm circles, opening regular chests, and more. Similarly, you also get XP based on your placement. The higher you rank in a match, the more XP you'll gain. Getting a Victory Royale also grants players a Victory crown, which increases the XP gained by completing these regular tasks in the next game. But there are some other methods as well which can be implemented to level up faster in the Battle Royale mode which we have listed below:

Daily Challenges

Completing daily challenges is regarded as the most consistent way to level up in Fortnite. They are simple to complete and as the name suggests, the challenges refresh daily and you get to see brand new challenges to complete each day. Some examples include sliding a certain distance, spending gold bars, or upgrading weapons at an Upgrade bench. By completing 3 daily challenges, you can grab 48k XP regularly. So make sure you complete all the Daily challenges before the timer runs out. There are some additional challenges as well, but they aren't worth competing for as they only grant 1k XP upon completion.

Weekly Quests

A source for XP, weekly quests are equally significant to daily challenges. Fortnite adds 7 new weekly quests that players can work their way through every week and gather as much XP as possible. Upon completion of each quest, players are rewarded with 15k XP. 7 weekly quests allow for a total of up to 105,000 XP per week. Then there are bonuses for completing weekly quests as well. Ticking off 2 weekly quests gets you an additional 43k XP, and there are additional bonus rewards as well.

Unlike daily challenges, these weekly quests do not reset and stay till the end of the season. The difficulty level does vary as there are different types of quests. Some are easy tasks, such as eliminating an enemy with a specific weapon, while others can be difficult, such as asking players to emote at different locations on the map.

Play With Friends and Make Use of Party Assist

Teaming up with friends is always a good way of leveling up. When you team up with other players in Duos, Trios or Squads, you can complete some daily challenges with their help. The daily challenges for players are pooled together for the team, making it easier for everyone to achieve their challenges with the help of their teammates.

Achieve Milestones

Fortnite Milestones are minimal tasks that can be completed quickly while playing a Battle Royale match. Milestones are relatively easy tasks, such as damaging opponents, destroying objects using vehicles, landing headshots, and more. Players naturally complete these challenges while playing the game. Every Milestone has 20 stages. As players work their way up these stages, the reward for completion increases. All Milestones can be viewed in the Quests menu.

How To Get XP in Fortnite Creative

The Fortnite Creative mode is one of the best ways to farm XP. Though it may sound hard to believe, players can gain XP just by spending time in Creative mode. This means you don't have to do anything specific in Creative, you can just spend time in the game and Fortnite will reward you with XP. Talking in numbers, spending 15 minutes rewards you with 12000 XP and this reward can be collected 5 times a day. Isn't this awesome?

The introduction of Chapter 3 brought many updates and changes, one of them was the addition of Accolade devices in Creative maps. They have essentially changed how XP can be farmed in the Creative mode. Maps in Creative mode with the Accolade device enabled reward players with XP upon completing specific challenges and levels. The amount of XP you can rack up depends on the size and difficulty of the task you complete. XP rewards from Accolades range from very small to large amounts, and the tasks vary from map to map. So look around and search for the maps that are best suited to your play style and award the greatest amount of XP so that you can level up as fast as possible. The best maps to grind on for XP are Parkour and Deathrun Maps because you can get a large amount of XP without having to eliminate other players.

Also, you must play on different maps to gain the maximum possible amount of XP. Playing only on the same Creative map reduces the overall XP you receive with time. If you spend most of your time on the same map and complete the same tasks over and over, you will start earning less XP for the same amount of effort. In addition, there is also a limit to the amount of XP you earn from a specific map. This XP cap affects the rate at which you receive XP. After you have earned approximately 200,000 XP by playing a single map during a day, further rewards that you receive will be at a much lower rate. This is also why you should consider playing on different maps rather than spending time on the same map. The XP limit resets when the Item shop resets.

How to get XP in Fortnite Save the World

Save the World campaign mode is not available for all players, but if you have access to it, it is a great way to level up quickly. The game mode can also be purchased as a part of a bundle. These bundles include skins, cosmetic items, and some missions in Save the World mode that can help you pile up to 600,000 XP daily and V-Bucks. This purchase will grant you permanent access to the game mode.

You can complete various missions to earn Mission Badges for actions and tasks such as building, exploring, and fighting. Further, there are also some bonus missions you can complete. All of these contribute to XP that will help you progress through the Battle Pass. Save the World is divided into further game modes and all of them can be played for XP. The amount of XP these game modes award changes with new seasons and chapters. Some game modes that will help you level up quickly in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 are:

-Ride the Lightning
-The Crypts (Dungeon)
-The Lab
-Inferno (Dungeon)

What's more? Well, unlike Creative, you can go on playing a specific mode and the amount of XP you receive isn't reduced. Furthermore, the amount of XP is independent of the mission difficulty. This means that you can play any mode you like and reach the daily 600,000 XP limit without having to play game modes that you are uncomfortable with.

Buy levels with V-Bucks

All of the methods to gain XP and level up in Fortnite are convenient, but they require time and commitment. And you cannot earn much XP or access all the rewards that the Battle Pass has to offer without spending much time in the game. A workaround for this is to buy the in-game currency called V-Bucks, which can be used to buy levels and progress through the Battle Pass. But this isn't recommended as these levels can be really expensive when purchasing with V-Bucks.

So if you do not have the time to gain XP through the traditional methods but still want to make your way up to the Darth Vader skin, you could spend some V-Bucks on a bundle of Levels and level up quickly. That was everything you should know about earning XP in Fortnite.
Good luck with leveling up!
